Responsibilities:
- Oversees and ensures that the office administrative functions of the Slot Department are effectively carried out.
- Assists in the development and plan of the Slot operation to maximize the potential profitability of the slots.
- Responsible for the maintenance of the slot machines to include the organization of a slot parts department and related slot equipment.
- Assist in the preparation of the slot operational and departmental budget.
- Assist in ensuring compliance of the slot department to all governmental regulation specific to slots.
- Responsible for the slot employees under his/her direction to include the selection, retention, promotion, discipline and evaluation of subordinates.
- Determines training needs, approves, or disapproves leave requests and schedules subordinates.
- Assists in the development and implementing of slot promotions in coordination with the Slot and Marketing Manager.
- Has complementary signature authority.
- Assist Slot Manager in analyzing slot floor and make recommendations on machine changes and purchases.
Physical Requirements:
- Sedentary work with frequent walking and standing is required.
- Subject to inside environmental conditions, including working in a smoking environment.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work well with the public is desired.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing is desired.
- Gaming experience and three to five years of Slot Supervisory experience is desired.
- Education above the high school level in casino management, business administration or a closely related field is desired.
- Ability to supervise and manage employees effectively is desired.
- Incumbent is subject to a comprehensive background check.
- Operations are conducted seven days a week and on holidays.
- Subject to drug testing in accordance with the Fond du Lac Employee Drug and Alcohol Policy.
- Subject to immunization review and submitted proof of required vaccinations.
- Some travel required.
