JOB SUMMARY:
The Recruiter is responsible for recruiting and screening candidates for potential employment at Hancock Health. This position is also responsible for maintaining an external presence at educational institutions, job fairs, and professional organizations to recruit candidates and promote health care careers to all ages.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and manage all recruitment processes - opening a job, internal (Job Hotline) and external job posting, reviewing applications, working with departmental leadership to determine the correct hire. This includes utilizing all types of recruitment efforts including cold calling, direct mail, prior candidate database maintenance, etc.
- Facilitating the entire job offer process including paperwork, Occupational Health visit, criminal history check, licensure, all other required documentation gathering and data entry into Ascentis and Meditech.
- Professionally interacting with candidates and customers either via the telephone or face-to-face.
- Responsible for all recruitment technology including the applicant tracking system, Canvas texting software, etc.
- Maintain organizational presence at educational institutions (colleges and high schools) by attending job fairs/career days, classroom opportunities, etc.
- Maintain organizational presence with professional organizations and their applicable conference and publications.
- Working with outplacement and temporary placement vendors (as needed) to include: establishing the financial arrangement, prescreening candidates, processing billing statements, etc. This includes maintaining organizational records of contract labor.
- The Recruiter is expected to participate with the rest of the HR team to assist visitors, answer phones, and general duties as needed. The position will also manage projects as needed.
- All other duties as assigned by the department or the organization.
