Youth Education Coordinator
The Tread of Pioneers Museum is hiring a youth education coordinator to work with students, schools, families, and youth in Routt County. Competitive pay, year-round, flexible schedule and hours, paid time off and benefits, part-time or full-time options, family forward personnel policies, and progressive work culture. Licensed educator or education experience preferred.
The heart of the museum is a 1901 Queen Anne-style Victorian home with turn-of-the-century furnishings. Explore exhibits that tell the local story of Native Americans, the history of skiing, agriculture, mining, pioneer settlement, town development, and much more! View this list of all our current featured exhibits. In addition, our Western Heritage Exhibit, home of an extensive firearms collection, traces our agricultural history and the story of an infamous outlaw, Harry Tracy. Soar into the history of skiing in our Ski Town U.S.A. exhibit, and learn why Steamboat is home to more Olympic athletes than any other town in the nation.
